In verit\u00e0 io vi dico: hanno gi\u00e0 ricevuto la loro ricompensa.\u00a0Invece, mentre tu fai l&#8217;elemosina, non sappia la tua sinistra ci\u00f2 che fa la tua destra,\u00a0perch\u00e9 la tua elemosina resti nel segreto; e il Padre tuo, che vede nel segreto, ti ricompenser\u00e0.<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">E quando pregate, non siate simili agli ipocriti che, nelle sinagoghe e negli angoli delle piazze, amano pregare stando ritti, per essere visti dalla gente. In verit\u00e0 io vi dico: hanno gi\u00e0 ricevuto la loro ricompensa.\u00a0Invece, quando tu preghi, entra nella tua camera, chiudi la porta e prega il Padre tuo, che \u00e8 nel segreto; e il Padre tuo, che vede nel segreto, ti ricompenser\u00e0.<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">E quando digiunate, non diventate malinconici come gli ipocriti, che assumono un&#8217;aria disfatta per far vedere agli altri che digiunano. Tutte le pratiche di penitenza e di preghiera hanno un fondamento perch\u00e9 siano giuste ed utili: \u00e8 l\u2019anima che deve digiunare, fare l\u2019elemosina, pregare in segreto, sempre con l\u2019umilt\u00e0 di cuore. Quel che \u00e8 molto importante in queste situazioni \u00e8 la verit\u00e0 del cuore, contro l\u2019apparenza e l\u2019esteriorit\u00e0. Dove \u00e8 diretto il mio cuore? Da che cosa \u00e8 mosso?
